Oh man, almost a full month without posting anything. That's terrible. I'm planning to start posting something new every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from now on. Here's something a day early.



The sketch isn't as complete as I'd have liked it to be but I was happy that I was at least able to jot down 'girl wearing a scarf reading a book'. With only the drawing to look at now I can see that there were a lot of details and forms which I left out that would have made the drawing less ambiguous. If I had a bit more time I would have clarified that her left hand was resting on the handle of a bike. I also think the line work needs a little more variety between thick and thin lines to help create more of a sense of depth.
